صرف کامیابی کے لیے یونیورسٹی کی ڈگری ضروری نہیں ہے ، یہ ضروری ہے لیکن کامیابی حاصل کرنے کا حتمی راستہ نہیں۔ بہت سے لوگ کبھی یونیورسٹی یا کالج نہیں جاتے لیکن وہ بہت اچھا کر رہے ہیں وہ بل گیٹس کی طرح دنیا کی رہنمائی کر رہے ہیں اور بہت سی دوسری مثالیں ہیں، جیسے مارک زکربرگ اور سٹیو جابز جنہوں نے گیراج میں آئی فون پیدا کیا۔ آئن سٹائن کو بھی ایک کمزور طالب علم سمجھا جاتا تھا۔ جب وہ اسکول میں تھا لیکن اس نے سائنس اور تحقیق کے تئیں اپنی لگن اور محبت سے ثابت کیا کہ وہ اب تک کے سب سے بڑے سائنسدان ہیں۔ کامیابی کے لیے سب سے اہم چیز آپ کی لگن اور لگن کے ساتھ انتھک محنت ہے یہ سب چیزیں کامیابی کے بنیادی تقاضے ہیں۔ ڈگری کی اہمیت ہے یہ آپ کو اس شعبے کے بارے میں کافی معلومات فراہم کرتی ہے جس کا آپ تعاقب کر رہے ہیں لیکن یہ اس وقت تک بیکار ہے جب تک کہ آپ اس علم یا معلومات کو اپنی عملی زندگی میں لاگو نہیں کرتے۔ تلخ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اگر آپ اپنی زندگی کی بنیادی ضروریات پوری کرنے کے لیے اچھی خاصی رقم نہیں کما رہے ہیں تو اس کا مطلب ہے کہ آپ کی ڈگری بیکار ہے اور یہ صرف کاغذ کا ٹکڑا ہے۔ کچھ معاملات میں ڈگری حاصل کرنا کوئی پیشہ نہیں ہے لوگ صرف شوق کے لیے ڈگری کرتے ہیں اور وہ اس مضمون کو پڑھنا پسند کرتے ہیں اور وہ کسی دوسرے شعبے کو بطور پیشہ منتخب کرتے ہیں۔ اس قسم کے معاملے میں یہ اچھا ہے کیونکہ جذبہ اور پیشہ مختلف ہو سکتے ہیں۔ مشق، محنت، لگن، لگن، عزم اور مسلسل کوشش کامیابی کی کنجی ہیں۔ مختصراً یہ کہ کامیابی بغیر ڈگری کے حاصل کی جا سکتی ہے۔ لیکن ڈگری کی اہمیت کو نظر انداز نہیں کیا جا سکتا کیونکہ راسخ علم کی بنیاد پر لی گئی ڈگری کامیابی کو کیک کا ٹکڑا بنا دیتی ہے۔اور ڈگری اس لیے بھی ضروری ھے کہ یہ وہ علوم ھیں جن پر اللہ تعالیٰ نےاس پوری کائنات کی بنیاد کھڑی کی ھے۔

Purpose of education

Introduction:

Education is an ethical activity because it broadens one’s choice in terms of how one should live. Education opens doors to an individual. It allows opportunity and the ability to make informed decisions about ethical conduct in one’s life. It seems to me that education has a two-fold function to perform in the life of man and society, one is utility and the other is culture. Education must enable a man to become more efficient, to achieve with increasing capacity the legitimate goals of his life.( Kane Dane)

There are several purposes for all somewhat equal groups of students to bloom into adults and become responsible and effective citizens.

The purpose of education is to provide advantages to all somewhat equal groups. It is a levelling factor. The difference is who the educational system is provided for and whether or not they are equal. In most cases, education was not available to lower castes. Now, it is more widespread. Education must also train one for quick, resolute and effective thinking. To think incisively and to think for one’s self is very difficult. We are prone to let our mental life become invaded by legions of half-truths, biases, and hype. At this point, I often wonder whether or not education is fulfilling its purpose. A great majority of the so-called educated people do not think logically and are so-called allies.

Even the press, the classroom, the platform and the pulpit in many instances do not give us objective and unbiased truths. To save man from the morass of propaganda, in my opinion, is one chief aims of education. Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction word education are derived from the Latin word “Edu care” to bring up which is related to education “Bring out, bring forth what is within or bring out potential, etc.

Education can be explained in two perceptions.

It is an act that influences a person’s mind, personality or physical ability.

In a technical sense, education is the process by which society transmits, its knowledge or skills from one breed to another.

Verbally education can be, “Education is the process of acquiring knowledge, improving skills, training, learning of moral values, beliefs or habits, etc.

Categories of education

There are 3 types of education.

1. Formal

Formal education is a fully planned, structured and systemized type of education. Informal education, fees are paid regularly. It is subject-oriented. It has a specific grading system. The curriculum and syllabus are provided to the students. It is important for a good career as it helps in finding good job opportunities. Schools, colleges and universities are examples of formal education.

2. Informal Education

It is the type of education that occurs in regular classrooms but is not subject-oriented and out of the structured curriculum, There is no formal curriculum or syllabus. Informal education is spontaneous. Examples of informal education are self-directed learning, tutoring and networking, etc.

3. Non-Formal Education:

It also takes place outside well-known institutions. It is an open-ended education system. In the non-formal education system, age or time limit is not fixed anyone can get involved in either the public or private sector. Examples of the non-formal education system are vocational training programs, lifelong learning programs, aesthetic activities, etc.

Education is important for people of every. It is irrespective of caste, creed, and gender.

• For Permanent Life:

Education is the most important for a secure job. A person should certainly need to get educated for a dream job and enjoy the benefits of a luxurious lifestyle. Education guarantees lifetime income as a person can get a lot of job openings.

• Self-Independence:

Education can make person independent not only financially and also in decision making. So that you can make your decisions on your own.

• Self Configuration :

Education makes you a confident person. If you have knowledge and information you can take part in any discussion.

• Proper Use of Technology:

Education provides us with information related to technical skills. It tells us about the better use of modern technology like mobile phones or computers etc.

• Maturity

Education helps a person to learn about the disciplines of life. It teaches ethical values and manners. People become more mature, sophisticated and well-mannered. It is important in gaining respect in society. It gives people the knowledge and skills they require. It promotes peace in society.

2. Objectives of Education in Society:

• Religious purposes:

Religious education is the education of a particular religion, its various aspects, faiths, beliefs, etc. Religious education helps people to learn about their religion and its teachings. So people should know about the actual beliefs of their religion. And how to act upon them.

• Civic Purposes of Education:

The development of society is directly related to education. The sense of well-being is enhanced which further encourages good physical or mental health. It broadens the vision of people and opens up their minds. It removes baseless beliefs and hatred from society. It helps individuals to differentiate between facts and misconceptions. Education develops awareness among society about the actions of the government either to go against or support them. The most important social purpose of education is to obey law and order. If a person is well-educated and has information about all the rules and regulations of law then he would act maturely. No incidents or robberies will happen if The most important social purpose of education is to obey law and order. Education helps in boosting the economy of a country. It is directly connected to the economy of a country. As people’s education improves, human capital also increases as productivity and creativity. More educated workers will tend to work more productively and earn high wages.

Education can be divided into different types. They include social technological, formal, natural and extra-curricula (Williams & Johnson, 2004). Our world experiences an abrupt change in this respect in the past few decades. Contemporary technologies have increased people’s  proficiency of comprehending stuff. The technology exploits an important role in both expanding and developing skills of reading, writing, speaking listening and learning, now use of Av-aids is very common. This can happen at home, school or the workplace. With this in mind, it becomes easier to communicate with others as well as to learn.

 

Technology

Technology has also been used to enhance children’s development. In the 21^st century, there is an increase in the educational use of computers to aid in lessons. When parents see their kids using these gadgets to carry out learning they develop a more positive attitude toward them. Children that spend time playing computer games and watching television are less affected by bad movies and music. Its other benefit is that , if a child is perceived to have such kind up bringing hope he will definitely grow motivated and enthusiastic. Children are  to allow them to watch cartoons or movies that help developing imagination and creativity. This will help the study develops appreciation information. As more children develop from these activities, it becomes easier for them to become productive and intelligent adults. Parents may even find themselves encouraging young children to pursue sports, which also develops brainpower and confidence. They are should be encouraged to watch TV or play computer games.

Reading books or listening to radio controls makes it easy to gain knowledge. Besides, skimming newspapers enable people and individuals to continue conscious hence being updated on the issues Of contemporary world. For specimen, if a somebody is not in university or job they will not have permit to data and it would take time to get information from their educators. Since literacy is essential to future success, schools should teach students new words and phrases to make them better writers. These will enable them to be in sync with the contemporary world. Students who engage in reading are likely to achieve their goals; hence making it easier for them to succeed in their lives. Moreover, students that read lots of books are able to increase their vocabulary hence having many chances of succeeding. Furthermore, interacting with peers through discussion groups can make someone understand the life experience being faced (Cohen & Jones, 2007). The same holds true in workplace since working in group enables one to interact with each other thus increasing productivity. This helps in decision making as well as improving communication skills; hence improving the quality of life. Being educated is beneficial especially in times of need. By having basic education one becomes stronger thus allowing him/her to face hard times with courage. A student whose parents read to them daily knows the way to fight bullying or any form of discrimination within his/her environment. Students who go to the college are able to learn new skills that makes them reach the height of their ambition and knowledge that increase their information. Therefore, colleges should focus on teaching them with regards to what they would like to do in future, for instance, they can choose a trade based on their course knowledge. Most importantly, college education is about learning new things. That is why teachers should be careful when choosing subjects. Some subjects, such as chemistry or physics require high level of accuracy in their studies as they are related to physics as part of physics. Therefore, teachers should ensure that their lectures are accurate and detailed so that the learners can effectively handle the material taught. This not only improves students performance but also makes them feel comfortable in class environments.

 

Economical benefits

A country’s economy depends on skilled labour. people always search for jobs in order to earn a living. To maintain economic growth it requires good workers. Those people who are useful and expert in whatever they like always obtain jobs irrespective of their credentials. High demand for skilled staff to grow economically. However, unemployment is a challenge to this process since people always look for jobs that pay above the minimum wage. There are two main reasons for this. First, institutions are keen on hiring qualified people who can offer services of high value, secondly, individuals will seek for jobs that give a handsome amount of salary for a short period, and finally, people prefer jobs that have greater responsibility at the end of a year’s tenure. Nevertheless, several possessors are finding it risky to employ people because there is insufficient unemployment advantages linked with them. In the US for example, there were 9 million unemployed in 2006; however, the situation has changed over the last decade. Currently, the number of unemployed persons in America has dropped to 7 million, while the total national Unemployment rate is 9.7 percent. According to the reports released by government agencies, about 2.3 million jobs were lost by the middle-class during recent years, 4.1 million were lost during the Great Recession, and 1.2 million were lost due to recession. Furthermore, according to statistical data the lowest rates of unemployment are found among the youth aged between 15-19. It is reported that by 2009, more than 32.6 million teenagers aged 15-19 were jobless within the united states.

 

Skill development

The major component influencing employment is skills development. This is evident where many employees want to learn new areas of business or career for a short term. Skills are very valuable if done properly. Therefore, skills develop when training is given in a certain field of study. Training enhances one to develop leadership qualities and improve interpersonal relations (Cohen & Jones, 2007). The decent path that schools can furnish learners with skills is by providing related resources. Schools can create programs within the curriculum that will ensure that all learners acquire necessary academic knowledge and then train them in other fields that require technical expertise. Through this, institutions of higher learning will be in a position to have skilled and competent graduates in diverse areas of interest.

The United States have a large population of immigrants. Most immigrants come to the US to seek for a piece of land, jobs and basic amenities in the country. Settlers are pulled to this country due to diverse factors. Firstly, immigration brings with it a lot of money that can be utilized in other parts of the world. Additionally, immigrants are fascinated to this region due to their families want to move toward with them. Therefore, fame always likes the idea of sharing holidays, birthday parties or even attending weddings among other family functions. Such movements bring a great deal of cooperation and inter-reliance (Williams & Johnson, 2004)

Conclusion

In end of the essay, I will be interested in pursuing a master’s degree Education and management of health care in hospital in the United States. My chief goal is to obtain enough information regarding how to manage patients in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare centres. One may be interested in the right treatment that is administered to different patients depending on the state where they are located. Next objective is to guarantee proper record-keeping of medical patients to avoid misdiagnoses of ailments. This goal will be achieved with the help of studying the principles of health care management. Finally, I wish to participate in research that examines the impact of nursing shortage in various sectors of the American public. All through out my graduation study, I was enthusiastic in findings the problem of sitters’ scarcity in the whole territory. This is necessary since it will be helpful in determining the problem and coming up with possible solutions. During my masters analysis I will find out how nurses tend to deal with the problem. Therefore, the ultimate goal will be to solve this problem by putting more effort on the side of the citizens and ensuring improved health.
